We are thrilled to announce that Bro. Geoff has been honoured with Grand Rank in the Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine, the Orders of the Holy Sepulchre, and of St John the Evangelist. This prestigious recognition was awarded during the Grand Imperial Conclave, held on July 2, 2024, at the iconic Freemasons Hall in London.
Bro. Geoff, a distinguished member of Notfelle Conclave 449, which convenes in Sutton, received his investiture from the Most Illustrious Grand Sovereign, Graham Flight. This accolade is a testament to Bro. Geoff’s dedication, service, and exemplary contributions to the order.
Geoff was admitted into Pentangle Conclave, No. 147, in 2001, by the invitation of R. Ill. Kt. Peter Williams, Past I-G for the Division of Kent. Finding meetings difficult to attend, he became as a Founder of Thomas Bourchier Conclave, No. 447, and subsequently left Pentangle.
He became Most Puissant Sovereign in May 2009, but sadly the Conclave had to hand back it warrant a few years later, due to low membership. Just before then Geoff had become a joining member of Notfelle Conclave, which met at Nutfield, local to his workplace at Reigate. There he served as Deputy Marshall, Marshall and Recorder for 5 years and held several Divisional Offices in Surrey.
The Masonic and Military Order of the Red Cross of Constantine is an historic and esteemed order within Freemasonry, known for its deep-rooted traditions and values. The order’s ceremonies and teachings draw upon the legend of Constantine the Great and the vision of the cross, emphasizing the virtues of faith, dedication, and integrity.
