Donation of Easter Egg Hunt Eggs to local Food Bank

One of our members Paul G has donated a stash of Easter Eggs to the local St. Francis Church food bank in Petts Wood. Originally destined for the annual Easter Egg Hunt held at Prince George, Duke of Kent Court, Chislehurst, the Hunt could not proceed due to the current lock-down restrictions.

Paul suggested that they should be donated to the Petts Wood playgroup but it too has been closed for 3 weeks now along with all other local groups. However, St. Francis church is running a food bank and through the church where the playgroup meets, Paul has arranged for the eggs to go to the food bank so that some children can benefit.

A short letter has been left with the eggs explaining the source. Paul and Mrs. G also added a few hobby-craft gifts that they had bought too.

We wish all the recipients a Happy Easter and we hope that we will be able to hold the Easter Egg Hunt next year at Prince George, Duke of Kent Court. Thank you Paul G for thinking about others and donating these.
